Compare quotes without counting a fee twice
Start with matching quotes
Use the same dates and occupancy. The room field expects a price per room per night. If a quote provides only the total room cost, divide it by nights and rooms before entering it. Charges already incorporated into that rate must not be added again under extras.
Use the tax amount in your quote
The tax field expects the entire excluded tax amount for the stay. It does not calculate tax rates or exemptions. Read the quote for each traveler, since rules can vary with age, destination or length of stay. If taxes are already included, leave this field at zero.
Separate nights from daytime costs
A late arrival or early departure can change breakfast mornings and transport days. Enter those counts independently. Parking uses a nightly basis; if a provider charges by calendar day, adjust the unit cost or enter the difference under other fees.
Keep the booking conditions in view
A lower total does not make two offers equivalent. Check cancellation, prepayment, actual travel time, accessibility, opening hours and amenities. A refundable security deposit is not an expense: exclude it from the total while allowing for the required cash or available card limit.
Use one currency throughout
Convert both quotes to the same currency using a rate you have checked and any exchange fees that apply. The currency selector changes formatting only: this calculator performs no conversion and has no current exchange-rate data.

No. You enter amounts from your own quotes and the tool adds the listed cost categories. It sells no rooms and guarantees neither rates nor availability.
Can I compare stays of different lengths?
Yes. Each quote shows both the total and cost per guest per night. To identify the cheaper equivalent trip, use the same duration, number of guests and number of rooms.
Should I add fees already included in a rate?
No. Leave an extra at zero when the room rate already includes it. Enter the total excluded tax amount once.
